SquidSiphon

Wield your eldritch squid gun thing to siphon energy from flying skulls! Made for The Eye Jam II.

Gameplay:

1. Pickup the gun in the center of the ring to start
2. Skulls will randomly spawn around you
3. Siphon energy from them, and blast it back to defeat them
4. Get a high score! One hit means death

Controls:

• WASD - Move
• Shift - Dash
• Space - Jump  (Hint: Dash during a jump for extreme speed)
• E - Pickup gun
• Esc - Quit
• F - Restart after game over
• Left Click - Siphon energy when near an enemy
• Right Click -  Shoot projectile using your energy

This was originally meant to be a longer narrative game. During development I  realized that was too big of a scope for my first game, so I carried over the squid gun concept into this new shorter game. The original game had a better reflection of the "decay" theme using the siphon mechanic, but I still hope you enjoy this new action packed version!
